I'd read about some of the negative reviews so was hoping for the best, and we certainly got the best. We visited as a family (2 x adults, 2 children 7 & 5) I would recommend this place if you have young children as they would like it. If it was priced at £15 for what you get, bearing in mind how many people they pack in, i would say that was more reasonable. The only negative i would say is the cost, £24 i feel is a bit steep. There is also a pushchair parking area to keep pushchair safe whilst inside the water park. There is ample seating area in the water park as they have a cafe area, however there is not any seating areas inside the pool/slides area for non taking parters! The changing rooms do have mirrors and hairdryers, they also have a drying machine you can stand in (see pic) - that is for lazy people that do not know how to hand dry themselves. My two favourites were the Master Blaster and the Sidewinder. The queues looked worse than they were as they soon went down. There must of been around 200 people in there by the time we left at 12.30pm.Īpart from that, i couldn't fault it, the slides were great fun, and although queuing was at each slide, it was not for long. It was ok for the first hour an half or so then it got ridiculously busy, so much so that you were literally bumping into people. The lockers are open and closed by electronic wristband which you pay for when you book, you get £2 back from it when you hand it in on departure. We walked straight in, it has mixed changing rooms, with individual and family changing areas, which are a good size. My daughter and i had the 9.30am - 12.30pm slot. Located at the South Pier end of the Promenade in Blackpool, we visited here one Sunday morning - when you book it has to be online and you get a 3 hour slot - which you choose. Overall we were very pleased with our visit here again and will be back in the future. There are also several eateries where you can purchase a variety of food and drink. The lifeguards are very helpful and regularly check to see if children meet the right height restrictions and children are generally safe here.įor anyone not too keen on the rides (me included), there are plenty of conveniently located sunbeds which is good if you want to relax. There are enough rides to keep them occupied, the rides are loosely based on Ancient Greek history. This place is a great way to spend the day particularly if you have a child/children. Have to say that the staff were polite and it was good to see some familiar faces from last year! The grounds are very well kept and to be honest were looking even better than last year. ![]() The waterpark is easy to get to, the local bus service takes you straight there as it is the final stop. We had booked our discounted tickets online prior to the opening of the 2023 season which helps as the prices on the door are quite high. ![]() We returned to this place while on holiday again in Ayia Napa.
